An interactive tool that depicts the 500 companies on Fortune Magazine's annual list of America's largest corporations. Click and drag the mouse to see how a company's rank has changed over the years from 1955 to 2010. Or change to the Revenue and Profit views to see other perspectives.
This project was built as a quick sketch and is not affiliated with Fortune Magazine in any way, and runs on a publicly available data file of the listings found on Wikipedia. The intent is to show how 84,000 data points could be easily viewed and navigated in an interactive piece.

RunKeeper has produced an infographic of all the data it’s collected over the last 3+ years. To date, RunKeeper users, 69% of which are outside of the U.S., have logged 156 million miles and burned 23 billion calories. Check it out below for other fun stats.
